06/07/2021 Yesterday, Monday 5th July, the 9th edition of the World Notariat University "Jean-Paul Decorps" was opened.
95 students from 33 countries of the world gathered virtually for the webinar launching the training.
UINL President Cristina N. Armella officially opened the University: "Thanks to our adaptability, resilience and strong will, we are opening today a new edition of our World Notariat University. It will generate in all students a sense of belonging that will not be limited to the months of duration of this training, but will undoubtedly be an indelible mark in their professional training and their performance of the notarial public service."
The University Scientific Director, Thierry Vachon, before introducing the professors, recalled that "The intervention of the notary, his/her role, his/her status, his/her missions will constitute the red thread of the University to highlight the raisons of the usefulness of this institution in our Laws but also its remarkable adaptability which gives the notary a premium place in today's digital world, as demonstrated through the health crisis."
Each professor then presented his/her course module:
MODULE 1: FAMILY - Not. Dr. Cristina ARMELLA (ESP)
MODULE 2: PERSON - Pr. Christine MORIN (FR-A)
MODULE 3: SUCCESSIONS - Pr. Michel GRIMALDI (FR-B)
MODULE 4: ESTATE - Pr. Luc WEYTS (ENG)
The webinar concluded with a lectio magistralis entitled "Distances and Authenticity" by UINL Honorary President Jean-Paul Decorps, founder of the World Notariat University.
