Master of Notarial Law of the University of Niamey - Creation of the Association of Alumni

27/04/2021

Since its official launch on December 6, 2016, the Professional Master of Notarial Law of the University of Niamey has been welcoming students from 19 African countries and allowed for the initial and vocational training of notaries in Africa.

The creation of this Master in Niamey is the result of a partnership started in 2008 between the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Higher Education of Niger, the Chamber of Notaries of Niger, the Abdou Moumouni University of Niamey, the Commission of African Affairs of the UINL (CAAf), the Association du Notariat Francophone (ANF), the French Conseil Supérieur du Notariat (CSN) and the Spanish Consejo General del Notariado (CGN).

The students who have been trained and those who are still in training have set up an Association of Alumni of the professional Master's degree in Notarial Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Niamey.

This association has taken charge of updating the lists of the four promotions, each of which is dedicated to a personality of the International Union of Notaries, as a recognition for their decisive involvement in the setting up of this training, the first of its kind on the African continent :
- 2016-2017 I PROMOTION "Me Jose MARQUENO DE LLANO”
- 2016- 2018 II PROMOTION "Me Laurent DEJOIE".
- 2018- 2020 III PROMOTION "Mr. Jose Manuel GARCIA COLLANTES"
- 2019- 2021 IV PROMOTION "Me DODO DAN GADO Haoua”

This association is also working on drafting an online student's guide.
