The 2018 World Notariat University questions the "Autonomy of the will" (Rome - Italy, from July 2nd to 6th, 2018)

As of July 2nd and for a whole week, the International Union of Notaries welcomes, on the premises of the Notarial School of Rome - Consiglio Notarile di Roma (Italy), the 7th Edition of the World Notariat University.

Under the supervision of Mr. Thierry VACHON, French notary, 75 participants from 33 different countries and representing 4 continents, will discuss in coordination with a referent Professor on the concept of the Autonomy of the will and its application in four areas of law :
Module 1: Persons: Professor Christine MORIN (Quebec)
Module 2: Family: Professor Christina ARMELLA (Argentina)
Module 3: Succession: Professor Michel GRIMALDI (France)
Module 4: Estate: Professor Luc WEYTS (Belgium)

This seminar concludes an important comparative law preparatory work carried out beforehand by all the participants.
Following the preparatory cycle, each Reference Professor prepared an interactive module, including practical cases to be dealt with at the final assembly.

The World Notariat University is an academic training which aims to allow the understanding and the application of concepts of comparative law and international law in the framework of exchanges of good notarial practices.
