International Notarial Advice Open Day

02/10/2021

This Saturday 2 October, UINL celebrates the first International Notarial Advice Open Day.

On this date and during the month of October, many of UINL's Member Notariats are organising events and communications at the service of their communities, to remind them that notaries, as public officers, are at their disposal to provide them throughout the year and everywhere in the territory, with the legal advice and institutional support necessary for the proper exercise of their rights.

Notaries are public officers who exercise a public function by delegation of the State in the service of their community. Their mission is to give authenticity to legal acts and contracts, controlling their legality. They provide those who consult them with appropriate, independent and impartial legal advice.

The notarial function extends to all non-contentious legal activities.
The notary accompanies people and companies in the most important moments of their existence.

For examples of activities carried out within the framework of the International Notarial Advice Open Day, you can consult the video presentations of the Notariats of France, Mexico and Niger.
