The new European regulations on matrimonial property regimes and the property consequences of registered partnerships

On 29 January 2019, the two new Regulations (EU) 2016/1103 and (EU) 2016/1104 will become applicable. In this perspective, the Council of the Notariats of the European Union and the European Commission are jointly organising a conference in Brussels on 23 October 2018. The event will bring together notaries from across Europe, practitioners, academics and representatives of the European institutions to discuss the effective implementation and enforcement of the two regulations.
