“The notary has the obligation to promote access to the notary service for all citizens and in particular for people with disabilities" Discover the conclusions of the THEME II of the Iberoamerican Notary Day.

28/10/2021

The XVIII Ibero-American Notary Day organized by the UINL American Affairs Commission under the auspices of the College of Notaries of Puerto Rico was held from October 20 to 22, 2021.

This hybrid virtual and face-to-face event brought together nearly 400 participants from 22 Latin American countries, and Spain.

The different speakers studied current issues and, as a result of their exchanges, drafted conclusions, on the one hand, on the exercise of the notarial public function in a virtual environment, and, on the other hand, on the institutional support that notaries provide to people with disabilities in the exercise of their rights.

The meeting concluded with a forum of judges and notaries on the interpretation of the discernment of the human person.
