News Opening of the registration for the 7th World Notariat University "Jean-Paul DECORPS", Rome, 2018
05/12/2017 Applications for the annual edition of the World Notariat University "Jean-Paul Decorps" can now be sent to the National Chambers of UINL Notariats members.
This academic training offered by the UINL in English, French and Spanish is intended to encourage the exchange of good notarial practices, thus allowing the fluidification of their implementation in the international framework.
For this 7th Edition, the World Notariat University will include:
- A phase of preparatory online work between teachers and students;
- A conclusive one-week case study seminar (date yet to be determined);
- The presentation of the results in a guide of notarial good practices and in e-learning courses;
- The exposition of the results at the 2019 UINL triennial Congress.
Following the University, each participating Notary will be sent the final evaluations of their national participants and forward the final work.
The training is organized around a cross-cutting theme.
The theme of this legislature will be "The autonomy of the person’s will". It will be approached through four poles: personal interests, patrimonial interests, family interests, estate interests.
The work of each pole will be directed by a teacher until the Triennial Congress.
The World Notariat University is primarily directed towards notary candidates, notary trainees or young notaries with good legal training but little notarial experience (less than 35 years or with less than five years of professional experience), and preferably no having participated in any previous edition of the University.
As the total number of students is limited, the UINL reserves its right to limit the number of participants admitted for each country according to the applications received; each Notary has the right to involve at least 2 students.
