22/11/2021

The CNUE (Notaries of Europe) is organising an event in the framework of the Conference on the Future of Europe on 7 December.

The Conference on the Future of Europe is an initiative of the European institutions, offering European citizens the opportunity to debate Europe’s priorities and the challenges it faces. By spring 2022, the Conference should reach conclusions and provide guidance on the future of Europe.

The Notaries of Europe are keen to take part in this process and to formulate concrete proposals for the citizens and the European institutions. These proposals, as well as recent achievements of European notariats, will be presented at a conference in Brussels on 7 December 2021, which will be attended by notaries from all over Europe, academics and representatives of the European institutions such as :
- Roberta METSOLA, Vice-President of the European Parliament.
- Dubravka ŠUICA, Vice-President of the European Commission for Democracy and Demography
- Gašper DOVŽAN, Slovenian State Secretary for European Affairs
- Věra JOUROVA, Vice-President of the European Commission for Values and Transparency
The UINL Vice-President for Europe, Mr Lionel Galliez, will also take part in the first panel discussion.

The conference will be held at the Steigenberger Wiltcher's Hotel in Brussels and by video conference.
Interpretation will be provided in French and English.

UINL joins CNUE in inviting all its EU members to attend this event.
